Praise to God for a Living Hope
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, 5 who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7 These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. 8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.10 Concerning this salvation, the prophets, who spoke of the grace that was to come to you, searched intently and with the greatest care, 11 trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when he predicted the sufferings of the Messiah and the glories that would follow. 12 It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things.

He wants us to be Christ like and fallow him. God wants us to love him and our neioubergh. As we love our selves.

I think that the section is saying that we should trust and love the lord the lord our god. It is also saying that Jesus gave us a new birth into this world. When scarified on the cross. It is also saying that we all have a little patch of heaven in the sky waiting for us.

Your faith is shown when put into heat. That is when you show your true self. The heat burns off the layers of lies and reveals your core. Maybe that’s why God tests us. To reveal the real us.
Sometimes in times of trial God sets us up to do something great. It’s when the real us shines the brightest. God then uses us when we have nothing to lose to speak to others without fear. All we have to do is to give everything to God. Maybe that will inspire others to be great too.

God wants us to understand. What has happened in the past. To understand. He wants us to under stand why he did what he did, and why he did it.

I think this is saying that even though we can’t see Jesus, it doesn’t mean he’s not there. There are lots of things that you cannot see, but there still there. The Holy Spirit is an example of something you cant see, but know its there. Whenever we feel guilty if we did something wrong, that’s the Holy Spirit. We need to respond to feelings like this and do the right thing. God is also someone we can’t see, but know is there. Basically, the trinity is someone we can’t see but we know their there. We also know that their helping us make the right decisions and get through situations. The Holy Spirit works in us all the time and always helps us. I think the reason people don’t believe in God is because they can’t see Him. It doesn’t mean he’s not there though, he is omnipresent, everywhere.

I think god is telling you how youshould do things why and who said these things. He says that angels even want this. It tells you that you love Jesus and how you love him. God also is telling you that the prophets prophesized this. (DUH, they’re prophets) He sent you the Holy Spirit so that you could teach others about this and they will get the Holy Spirit too. ☺
